New York - Cloisters (Panorama)

The visit to the Cloisters is why I didn’t get to Central Park until evening. The cloisters are interesting, but I am somewhat jaded in having been to Europe so I couldn’t say they were impressive. For what is available in the US, they are very impressive.

New York - Central Park

It was late evening when I got to Central Park, so I did not take many pictures. However, Autumn in central park is a very pretty time and I’d managed to show up at the peak.

Church of Sveta Marina (1773)

The church of Sveta Marina would be easy enough to walk by without a second glance. In fact, we almost did, but we decided to visit. It was a very good decision. This was, by far, the most impressive church I visited in Bulgaria.

Plovdiv Roman Theatre

One of the many things to see in Plovdiv is an old roman theatre. It is still in use from time to time, but not when I was there. The entrance fee was a bit higher than most others, so only I went in. On the other hand, the attendant didn’t seem to be paying much attention, so the only places I didn’t go were barred and locked…
