The Port Market is the “tourist” visit in Montevideo. Within the old port market is a collection of Asado restaurants severing traditional Uruguayan food. Between the restaurants are some souvenir shops selling a variety of local crafts and tourist trinkets.

The painted ladies are a frequent visit of most tourist. They’re bright and colorfully painted Victorian houses. They are quite interesting and the architectural details and colors are definitely worth seeing.

Celebrations were focused on the Embarcadero with live bands, food, drink, and huge crowds. We setup on the top of a parking garage across the street.

Walking around San Francisco it’s hard to miss some of the architectural details in the buildings, both inside and outside, and you wouldn’t want to. This is just a small sampling of what was seen.

The Embarcadero is a long road/walking road along the San Francisco bay. It provides a pretty view of sites such as Fisherman’s Wharf, the Bay Bridge, and the Port.

San Francisco has a variety of interesting and pretty skyline views. These were primarily shot from atop a parking garage by fisherman’s wharf while we were waiting for July 4th fireworks. The panorama shows a nice view of the skyline, but the bus yard isn’t the best view.
