Constitution Plaza (Plaza Constitucion) is another plaza in old town that is surrounded by historic buildings. In the center is the fountain shown above. On opposite ends of the plaza are the Cathedral (1790) pictured below and the Cabildo (old city hall) which is not pictured. Somehow I ended up without a picture of it.

Walking around San Francisco it’s hard to miss some of the architectural details in the buildings, both inside and outside, and you wouldn’t want to. This is just a small sampling of what was seen.

This fountain is located on the Embarcadero and is rather controversial. Some people like it, others absolutely hate it. I find it interesting, but agree it’s not exactly pretty.
